Danjjak is the Korean word for a close pair, which is how the business started: two friends from National Service, answering the same question for everyone they knew. Your Everyday Best Friend.

How a favour became a business
2020
Two medics, one group chat
DANJJAK began during COVID-19. Its founders are two best friends who met while serving as medics during National Service in Singapore. They kept being asked the same question by friends and family: where do I get this? Masks, thermometers, the cough syrup that was out of stock everywhere. Answering that question often enough turned into a business.
Online first
Listening before stocking
Rather than guess, they listed products online and watched what people actually bought and asked about. Every reorder was a signal. The range grew out of those answers, which is why it still looks like a well-run pharmacy shelf rather than a catalogue of whatever was cheapest to import.
Across the region
The finds start coming home
One founder travelled through Southeast Asia and later moved to Japan. Shops there carried things customers in Singapore had no easy way to buy: Thai herbal inhalers, Japanese sunscreens that feel like nothing, eye creams sold only in Japan. The ones that stood up to use came home in a suitcase first, then by the carton.

Supplying other businesses
DANJJAK sells on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, where the range grew to its current size. This website is for the other side of the business: retailers, clinics and offices who want the same range by the carton. Tell us what you need and we will quote you.

The countries our products are made in, from our home in Singapore to Japan and across Southeast Asia, with a few favourites from further afield.

We buy from brands and their authorised distributors. If we cannot confirm where a product comes from, we do not sell it.

Every enquiry is answered by one of us, with the price, the minimum order and whether the item is in stock.
Care comes first
We trained as medics, so we describe products exactly as their labels do and leave medical advice to doctors and pharmacists.
