ICM Pharma COFEN 100 is used for loosening of phlegm and relief of wet cough. It contains Guaifenesin, which helps to thin out and loosen the phlegm or mucous accumulated in the respiratory tract, so that secretions can be coughed out more easily. For the relief of congestive cough associated with the common cold, bronchitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, pharyngitis, influenza and measles.

Adults : take one to two teaspoons (5mL to 10mL) every 2 to 3 hours.

Guaifenesin is contraindicated during the diagnostic measurement of urinary 5 hydroxy-indoloacetic acid.
